Is the finance really interest-free?

Yes — both Zip Money and Afterpay offer genuine interest-free periods. With Zip Money you get 6 months interest-free. With Afterpay you pay in 4 equal fortnightly instalments with absolutely no interest ever. We always recommend Zip Money for larger treatments to keep monthly repayments as low as possible and avoid any interest at the end of the term.

Do I need to apply before my consultation?

No — you can apply on the day at your consultation. Michael will walk you through the process once you've decided to proceed. Zip Money and Afterpay both provide instant approval decisions, so there's no waiting around. You can start your treatment the same day in most cases.

Can I pay across multiple sessions?

Yes. If you prefer to pay by card, you can split the total across your treatment sessions rather than paying everything upfront. Just let Michael know at your consultation and we'll arrange this for you. This works particularly well for beard tattoo clients who need 2 sessions.

What happens if I miss a repayment?

Missing a repayment is between you and the finance provider (Zip Money, Afterpay or TCL) — not with My Transformation. Each provider has their own late payment policies. Afterpay charges a small late fee. Zip Money may charge interest if the balance is not cleared within the interest-free period. We always advise setting up automatic repayments to avoid this.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount for finance?

Afterpay is available for purchases from $1 up to $2,000. Zip Money can cover larger amounts up to your approved credit limit. TCL Finance is suitable for any treatment amount. For most SMP treatments at My Transformation, all three options will be applicable. Your consultant will help identify the best option for your specific quote.

Does applying for finance affect my credit score?

Afterpay does not perform a hard credit check — it uses its own internal assessment so it won't affect your credit score. Zip Money may perform a soft credit check for initial setup, which doesn't impact your score. TCL Finance may involve a standard credit assessment. If you have concerns, speak to Michael at your consultation and we'll find the most suitable option for your situation.

What if I want to pay the full amount upfront?

Of course — we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), cash, and bank transfer. There's no surcharge for any payment method. Many clients simply prefer to pay by card on the day and that's perfectly fine. Whatever works best for you.
